Responsibilities of the Honorary Consul
The Honorary Consul has several responsibilities, including representing the interests of the Republic of Sierra Leone and its citizens in The Netherlands and operating the Consulate of Sierra Leone in The Netherlands.
The Honorary Consul also implements directives for rigorous mobilization of trade and investment while using a fast-track approach, predicated on the Government’s Medium – Term National Development Plan, the Ministry ‘s strategic objectives, specific directives by the Hon Minister or senior management, as well as core functions and responsibilities issued by the Government via of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation
